WHAT IS ESA
ESA International (Epsilon Sigma Alpha) is a leadership and service organization bringing good people together to pursue programs and projects that make a positive difference – locally, nationally and internationally.
Since 1929, ESA members have used their network of more than 1,000 chapters to excel in community education, service and philan-thropy. Their “hands-on” endeavors provide more than 650,000 direct service hours and over $10 million for charitable causes each year.
ESA's unique program provides each member with the training, education and support they need to promote successful public service, while developing personal and professional skills in management, public relations and leadership.
ESA has long been known as an organization on the cutting edge. Always ahead of its time, it has blazed new trails in volunteerism.

At 75, ESA still committed to St. Jude
In July 2006, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, St. Jude's largest third - party contributor, held its International Convention in Little Rock, Arkansas, in celebration of their 75th anniversary.
And while just over 30 of those 75 years have been spent helping St. Jude in the battle against childhood catastrophic diseases, the sorority announced they have raised $75 million in cash and pledges for St. Jude, a million dollars for each year they have been in existence.
ESA began its partnership with St. Jude in 1972, making the hospital the group's international philanthropic project. Since then, ESA has endowed the St. Jude Bone Marrow Transplant area in the hospital's Patient Care Center and the fourth floor of the ALSAC Tower.
